Stay had potential to be decent with Ewan McGregor, Ryan Gosling and Naomi Watts. Potentially it had the issue of being written by one of the writers/directors/showrunners of season 8 of Game of Thrones (David Benioff). Going in I wasn’t expecting much but I was hoping for some sort of psychological and possibly even a Sci-Fi thriller, what I ended up with was a more art house K-PAX which I was not invested in, but was amused by how little pay off the ending contained. If you like 21 grams, then this might be for you.
